John Darwin
Winner: Best Spoken Word Performance - Greater Manchester Fringe
The Poet who aims to entertain and provoke. His latest new poetry collection - Unfinished business - was published in November 2022.
Reviews:
‘Unfinished business, failed relationships, things falling apart, irreparable loss. John Darwin gets to grips with the parts of life we'd rather forget’ Dave Morgan, Write out Loud
‘A collection of acutely and often fondly observed everyday acts by everyday people gives way to heartfelt and beautiful reflections and then… despair. All bookended by what makes John such an accessible and talented poet - his honesty about who he truly is’ Chris Lloyd, Red Ladder Theatre Company
‘John Darwin’s poetry echoes richly from all the harshly lit tap rooms and faded lounge bars of life. Poetry that leaves us drunk on its honesty but thirsty for more. Bitter, mild and sparkling poetry. Rum, punch drunk. One for yourself’ Tony Walsh

Sharena Lee Satti
As a spoken-word artist, Sharena is female advocate for women, pushing the boundaries and always campaigning for their voices to be heard in society.
She is currently working on her next poetry collection, which will be released in October, 2023.
Her first collection She was published by The Verve in November 2020.
The Bradford-based poet believes in the power of poetry and works within her community and online to make sure poetry is accessible for all.
Shortlisted for Northern Asian Powerlist 2022 and nominated for the National Diversity award 2022.

Richard Davenport
Rich Davenport is a comedy poet, stand-up comedian and musician from exotic Bolton, in the UK. Inspired by Spike Milligan, Ogden Nash, Billy Connolly, John Cooper-Clarke, Robin Williams, Benjamin Zephanaiah, Victoria Wood and Lenny Henry.
Rich has gigged all over the UK, spreading mirth and making loud noises. No, he’s never heard of him either. He was described in one review as a “no-nonsense Northerner,” which is ridiculous, because nonsense is his business, and business is good.
Rich’s new book of comedy poems Horsetrousers is available now on Blue Gnu Books.
Reviews:
“Rich is a hilarious performer and poet, very much in the classic Northern comic mould – a hint of Peter Kay, a touch of Victoria Wood and Henry Normal. Had the audience in the palm of his hand” Kate Fox, stand-up Poet
“Rich Davenport is a brilliant comedian. Genuinely bringing something different to the table and is always a big hit with audiences” Lee Martin, Gag Reflex Comedy Agency
