Come along and join us for an incredible evening celebrating this year's winner of the English@Bangor Uni Poetry Prize, Jeremy Dixon, and find out more about his brilliant work. This event will be in conversation with Kate North, author of poetry collections The Way Out and Bistro.
A Voice Coming From Then is Jeremy's first full poetry collection. The debut starts from his teenage suicide attempt and expands to encompass themes of bullying, queerphobia, acceptance and support. It includes unexpected typography, collage, humour, magic, discotheques and frequent appearances from the Victorian demon, Spring-heeled Jack.
Tickets are £3 and can be purchased online via the Eventbrite below, or feel free to pop in store and buy a physical one at any of our till points. Both Kate and Jeremy's books will be available to purchase at the event.
