Magic Teapot and Concrete Meat Press are proud to present “Transatlantic Transmission - Poetry Across The Pond” featuring John Dorsey and Adrian Manning at The Musician, Leicester on Saturday 19th October at 1pm.
John Dorsey is a hugely acclaimed American poet, currently residing in Toledo, Ohio. With countless books and poems published around the world and a track record of hitting the road to bring his poetry to the people, he is a dominant figure in the world of the small presses. This reading is one if a handful on his first visit to the UK and should not be missed.
Adrian Manning is one of Leicester’s own. His poems have been published widely in chapbooks and journals across the globe. He is also editor of Concrete Meat Press and a collaborator with local musicians from time to time.
Who knows when Dorsey will make it back to these shores? Catch him while you can.
