Making A Mark: Guided Steps in Writing Poetry

A one-day course for beginners and more experienced writers. David will encourage participants to gain access to, and explore, their potential for creating poetry.
A series of exercises, some study of set texts, and work with a specific short-form - the cinquain. There will be a short preliminary field-work/material gathering session on Old Town Beach (weather permitting).
Maximum of ten students, aged over 16.
Tea/coffee provided, but bring your own packed lunch.
