Wirral Poetry Festival presents a new poetry show!
A lively morning with a varied programme of community and established performance poets interspersed with some music to be enjoyed by young and old alike. Whether you hate or love poetry, come and be prepared to be impressed with the power of the spoken word, to enjoy a dash or two of humour and to be moved by a spot of emotion!
Curtis Watt is our host and compere for the morning. Curtis is a marvellous performance poet, rapper, actor, presenter, musician, workshop leader and author of Children’s History of Liverpool. Alongside Curtis we will feature some young and not so young performers and some musical interludes to make a great start to our festival day in Birkenhead.
