An evening of music and the spoken word featuring guest poet, Matthew Hedley-Stoppard and guest musician, singer/songwriter Declan Vink.
Doors open at 7.30pm. £5 on the door. Food and drinks available to purchase at the Bar. All monies go to our guest performers.
Matthew Hedley Stoppard was appointed the UK's first official Town Poet in Otley in 2016. He has two collections published by Valley Press, and his poems have featured in magazines, anthologies and on radio and television. Matthew's debut collection of poetry, A Family Behind Glass, was published by Valley Press in May 2013, and was included in the Guardian's Readers' Books of the Year. His next publication was Cinema Stories, a collaboration with fellow Leeds-based poet James Nash. Launched at the Leeds International Film Festival in November 2015, this collection celebrates the cinematic heritage of Leeds, and the experience of cinema-going in general.

Declan Vink: 'Declan Vink' started out as a brother and sister acoustic duo in 2013 writing their own music combining acoustic guitar, violin and blood harmonies. After years of crafting their art they have just released their second EP ‘This Must Be the Place.’ Combining the original project with electronic drum beats, dreamy synths and 80's guitars dripping with chorus, they are now a four-piece band taking inspiration from bands like 'The 1975', 'The Japanese House' and 'Rhye'.
Declan will perform acoustic versions of the tracks from his last recent records alongside some well-known covers.
