Advice to a Traveller
Poetry launch at The Hyde Park Book Club

John lives in Ossett, West Yorkshire. His poems won first prizes in The Plough Poetry [2013,2014], the Camden/Lumen [2014], and McClellan [2015] Competitions respectively. In 2016 he was a winner of the Poetry Business International Pamphlet Competition judged by Billy Collins.Advice to a traveller was a winning entry in the Indigo Dreams Pamphlet Competition 2017, and was published in June 2018
Alicia Fernandez
Alicia was born and raised in Spain. She is a translator and conference interpreter, and currently lives in Leeds. She was shortlisted for The Poetry Kit’s Open Poetry Competition 2017, and was Ilkley Lit. Festival Chapbook Champion 2017. Her debut solo pamphlet, If moments were places was published by Half Moon Books last September.

Tom Weir
Tom was born in North Yorkshire in 1980 but grew up in Cambridgeshire; widely travelled and his years living and working abroad, in both Europe and Asia,
have provided inspiration for his writing.which includes The Outsider [ iOTA Shot Pamphlet Award] and his full collection, All that Falling [Templar Poetry 2015.]
Ian Harker
Ian is joint editor of the amazingly successful Strix poetry magazine. A winner of Templar Poetry’s Book & Pamphlet competition in 2015, with The end of the sky, his first full collection is Rules of Survival [Templar 2017]
