Come along for the biggest spoken word and poetry night in the south west! Join hosts Robert Garnham and Samantha Boarer for a night of whimsy and rhyming the likes of which you wouldn't believe. As well as a crop of locally sourced, fresh talent, we also have an amazing headliner. And this month, all the way from Bristol, Connor Macleod.

A Hammer and Tongue national finalist, Unislam runner up and highly commended contestant in the Poetry Rivals competition, Connor Macleod is an up and coming poet who is definitely worth watching! Hilarious and life-affirming, his performances are unlike anything you might have seen before. Macleod is currently the co-host of Raise the Bar, a burgeoning playwright working with the Bristol Old Vic and a masters student researching poetry criticism. With tears, giggles and far too many references to anime, be prepared to require preparation for Connor Macleod, Stand-Up Poet.
