Five O'Clock Verses at StAnza with Tara Bergin
This event on 10th March 2018 at 17:00 has past.
Contact: stanza@stanzapoetry.org
Reading: Tara Bergin, Tsead Bruinja
Daring, exhilarating and darkly funny, Tara Bergin's poetry has seen her shortlisted for both the T.S. Eliot Prize and the Forward Prize for Best Collection. In her latest collection, The Tragic Death of Eleanor Marx, she serves up exciting new ways of revisiting historical figures and moments which are otherwise overlooked. Sharing the stage with her is Tsead Bruinja, who writes in Frisian and Dutch. His alternately fragile and forceful poetry is marked by an adventurous experimentation.
