This is a Poetry Workshop combined with walking! Come and join poet Gill McEvoy for a short walk on the Wirral Way and in the varied and beautiful landscape of the Wirral (Thurstaston) Country Park and Shore, followed by time to write at the Visitor's Centre. We assemble in the Lecture Theatre at the Wirral Country Park Visitor Centre at 11.00am.
The outputs of these poetry picnics will feed into the main Festival, when some of the poems and other writings generated will be read on our Community Poetry Day at West Kirby Arts Centre on Sunday 9th July at 4.00pm.
