Dónall Dempsey is back after the August break, hosting the only poetry open mic in Guildford. This month's guest poet, Bethany Pope, has published several collections of poetry: Her latest collection The Rag and Boneyard was published this month by Indigo Dreams and her chapbook Among The White Roots Will be released by Three Drops Press next autumn. Her first novel, Masque, was published by Seren this June. She's is an amazing live wire, and an exciting reader.
Sign up from 7pm for five minute spots at the mic. It's free but we shall have our legendary bumper raffle with lavish prizes and a very favourable probability of winning them, so bring a £1 coin or two if you want to take your chances!
