Short Order Poetry To Go

This event on 12th November 2016 at 10:30 has past.

Contact: administration@poetryschool.com

As part of the Northern Poetry Library development Lisa Matthews created a new poetic form, the Anchored Terset (sic) – three words, one per line, with a fourth line of punctuation – to explore the strengths, and limitations, of short forms. This hands-on workshop will use the momentum of a series of workshop exercises to explore a variety of microforms. We will write standalone micro-poems, we’ll sequence them and cut them up to rebuild them into something other, something new. A faced-paced, hands-on day, come prepared to say a lot with a few words.

A one-day workshop running 10:30 – 16:30 on Saturday 12 November.

Price: £72.00

Time: 10:30am
