Triple Launch Reading: Peter Philpott, Pete Smith, Simon Smith come from the edges of the known world (Bishops Stortford, Ramsgate & Kamloops B.C.), with 4 books to launch in London & one evening to do it in - and a glass of wine for you!
Simon Smith is the author of five full-length collections of poetry. He is launching Half a dozen just like you (Oystercatcher) and Navy (Verisimilitude),the first two volumes of a ‘trilogy’; the third booklet, Salon Noir, will appear from Equipage in the autumn of 2015. He will also read from 11781 W. Sunset Boulevard, recently out from Shearsman.
Pete Smith, born & raised in Coventry, emigrated to Canada in 1974, had his first full-length collection, Bindings with Discords, published by Shearsman in February 2015.
Peter Philpott is launching Ianthe Poems (Shearsman).
