Open Mic Event
Verbose brings words to the ’burbs with live literature in Fallowfield. The new-look live literature night Verbose is back on Monday 25 May, with special guest authors Nicholas Royle, Conrad Williams and Booker Prize-nominated Alison Moore. Salt Prize winner Sarah-Clare Conlon is the event’s host. Taking place on the fourth Monday of the month at Fallow café, the event features performances by invited writers and an open mic, when audience members are encouraged to take to the stage and read their prose and poetry – sign up in advance via the website.
