Tonight's guest at The Works' Canteen is Roy Mcfarlane, a former Birmingham Poet Laureate who has recently been working on a libraries project with young people across Warwickshire. His poetry lyrical and uplifting, he is a powerful, compelling, and emotional performer of his work, mixing his love of jazz into his vocal delivery.

There'll be spoken word and music from MC Dave Reeves and plenty of opportunity to read your own work in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. So join us in the Museum's Rolfe Street Cafe for The Works' Canteen.

Price: £3.00

Time: 7:00pm
