Hi there! We're back! Again!
After a mind watering evening in March, we return on 7th APRIL with more BAR Poetry, alongside special feature poet TONI STUART, all the way from Cape Town (via Goldsmiths...).
TONI STUART is a Cape Town poet, performer and poetry developer. She has appeared in a variety of international poetry festivals, from the Paris Autumn Festival to the Scottish Poetry Library's Commonwealth exchange, and her work has been published widely in journals and anthologised in 'Heat of Shadows, South African Poetry 1996-2013' (Deep South, 2014). She is currently a 2014/2015 Chevening Scholar on the MA Writer/Teacher at Goldsmiths College, University of London.

SIDDHARTHA BOSE is a poet, playwright and performer based in London. His poetry books are Kalagora and Digital Monsoon (Penned in the Margins 2010/ 2013) and his poetry has appeared internationally in Fulcrum (USA), Voice Recognition: 21 Poets for the 21st Century (Bloodaxe, 2009), and The HarperCollins Book of English Poetry (HarperCollins, 2013, India).
Siddhartha has been featured on BBC 4, BBC Radio 3 and was dubbed one of the 'ten rising stars of British poetry' by The Times. He has performed at Latitude, the British Council Showcase 2012, Oxford University, Royal Festival Hall and Ronnie Scott's and in New York City, Berlin, Finland, Estonia, and India.

Born in 2013, BURN AFTER READING (aka BAR or BARPo) is a community of emerging poets established by Jacob Sam-La Rose and Jasmine Cooray that manifests a diverse range of poetics from 'spoken word' to 'page' and points in between.
