Verbose brings words to the ’burbs with live literature in Fallowfield… The new-look live literature night Verbose is back on Monday 23 March, with award-winning writers Fat Roland, Benjamin Judge and David Hartley the confirmed invited readers. Salt Prize winner Sarah-Clare Conlon is the event’s host. Taking place on the fourth Monday of the month at Fallow café, the event features performances by special guests and an open mic, when audience members are encouraged to take to the stage and read their prose and poetry – sign up in advance via the website. It’s free entry and doors are at 7.30pm. Fallow café is at 2a Landcross Road, Fallowfield, M14 6NA. http://verbosemcr.wordpress.com.
