Today’s session will involve spontaneous responses to multiple prompts, taking inspiration from contemporary poets and poems and investigating ways to find an authentic voice. Many writers, Allen Ginsberg among them, have employed a direct and fearless approach to first words in order to help access truths and experience that dwell within.
Poets should anticipate writing lots of new material and travelling on mental journeys that avoid roadblocks and hurtle towards unknown destinations.
