Hip Hop Theatre legend and Artistic Director of Breakin’ Convention Jonzi D presents an evening of poetry, live music, movement, politics and wit - including his acclaimed solo The Letter, co-directed by Dawn Walton, which examines his response to being offered an MBE.
The evening also features a new duet between Jonzi, the old skool of Hip Hop, and Ivan Blackstock, the new skool. Ivan co-founded BirdGang Dance Company and has worked on such films as StreetDance 3D and with artists like X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd.
Work from local spoken word collective Freestyle Fictionary completes the bill.
