Come on – search for the poet inside yourself at JAWDANCE! It's every fourth Wednesday, it's absolutely FREE and it's “London's most original open mic” (Joelle Taylor, poet).
Do you ever watch Benjamin Zephaniah or Kate Tempest on stage and think 'I could do that'? Or are you a jobbing poet looking to roadtest new material?
Whatever sort of poet you are, you'll find a warm mic-stand and a well-trained spotlight at JAWDANCE. Not only that, but we also screen some of the best poetry film-shorts and razzle-dazzle you with our headline acts.
Arrive early at Rich Mix’s atmospheric bar in Shoreditch to secure an open mic slot, or just come along to enjoy some fantastic spoken word.
Just turn-up and sign up from 6.15pm on the night!
