Creative Industries Trafford, in partnership with Manchester Literature Festival, presents a one-day conference on the craft and business of writing and publishing, taking place this Saturday, 12 October, 10.30am-5pm, at Waterside Arts Centre in Sale, a mere hop from Manchester on the Metrolink.
The Northern Lights Writers’ Conference is packed with talks, creative writing workshops and panel discussions featuring prize-winning authors, acclaimed publishers and leading London-based literary agents. Guest speakers include the writers David Gaffney, Jane Rogers, Elaine Feinstein and AL Kennedy, Salt Publishing’s director, Chris Hamilton-Emery, and editor, Nicholas Royle, and Juliet Pickering of Blake Friedmann Literary Agency.
