Apples and Snakes, Spread the Word, Entelechy Arts and The Albany Uncover Young Music Company present: My Deptford
Buzzing high street, galleries, youth theatre, one of the oldest markets in London – from 26 to 28 July we bring the energy of Deptford to Southbank Centre in collaboration with local partners and residents.
We are celebrating the diversity of Deptford by showcasing its art and culture, and offering a space for conversation and debate around what Deptford means to different people today.
Throughout the weekend Southbank Centre will be filled with performances, workshops, exhibitions, films and debates inspired by Deptford and featuring many local artists and organisations. Please see the Southbank Centre website for the full programme of events.
If you’ve lived in Deptford your whole life or never visited this South London borough come and join us to discover what Deptford has to offer and share your own stories and thoughts on SE8. On the Saturday there's a night of poetry and music hosted by the wonderful Jacob Sam-La Rose.
