Our welcoming and warm audience make an evening at BEYOND WORDS a great night out.
We meet on the first Tuesday every month. Doors open at 7.25 for a 7.30 start
The back room of The Gipsy Hill Tavern transforms to an intimate candle lit venue where open-mic innocents and well known poets rub shoulders and share the spotlight.
Each month invited poets read for us and we regularly showcase some of our poets from the floor so that they share the 'headlines'.

WE HAVE MOVED TO A NEW VENUE.
NEW VENUE - LORENZO's - in CRYSTAL PALACE.
BEYOND WORDS WILL NOT BE HELD ON JANUARY 1st.
OUR FIRST MEETING OF 2019 WILL BE ON JANUARY 8TH.
Afterwards we will continue to meet every first Tuesday of the year.
ON JANUARY 8th 2019 we will have our grand opening in our
NEW VENUE - upstairs at LORENZO's - CRYSTAL PALACE
73, Westow Hill, SE19 1TX. 5 mins from Crystal Palace Station.
with poets CHRIS McCABE and ROZANNAH ZABETH plus all you wonderful poets from the floor at the 'open-mic'.
