We are honoured to be back in March as part of SheFest 2018 to celebrate International Women's Day and come together in solidarity.
Let's - once again - empower each other as human beings and feed each others' souls ♥ The line-up looks incredible and we're certain you'll agree.
We have fabulous featured sets from Fran Lock, Sarah L Dixon, Dan Webber, and Khadijah Ibrahiim.
Camille McCawley, Carly Mountain, Evie Wilson, Zara Ade, Meg McGrath will treat us to powerful words in our open mic slots. And we have a treat from Kate Morgan and Alys who will serenade us with poetry to violin music.
Come join us to celebrate and be inspired by the powerful words of our guests.
Everyone welcome ♥ ♥
We will be collecting food/ sanitary products for the S2 Food Bank as always.
Cost: Pay what you can (suggested donation £4)
Verse Matters is an inclusive feminist arts event which provides a supportive space for people to share their work, showcasing poetry, stories and music in a friendly environment. Open to all.
Some of our performers tell stories that are marginalised by society: refugees, detainees, prisoners. Others speak in public for the first time. Others are experienced poets, dramatists and performers. All are respected and appreciated.
We look forward to welcoming you to Verse Matters!
