Tongue Fu returns to Rich Mix for the autumn and winter after a packed summer of music, poetry and theatre festivals.
This first show of the season lands on National Poetry, but the Fu are going International with an incredible bill of poets from around the globe (and Leicester), performing with spontaneous genre-bending improvised music from the Tongue Fu Band and animations-on-the-fly from CR&D.

Chris Redmond: International spoken word fiend, musician, Tongue Fu host & founder (BBC R2’s The Arts Show, Scroobius Pip’s Beatdown XFM).
Inua Ellams: Nigerian born, UK based, globe-trotting poet, award-winning playwright, electrifying performer and founder of late night urban exploration project, Midnight Run.
Deborah Emmanuel: Singaporean writer, performer, kick-ass singer and four-time TEDx speaker, whose first collection, When I Giggle In My Sleep, was published by Red Wheelbarrow Books in 2015.
Agnes Török: Swedish winner of multiple Slams in three countries and two languages. She has been featured as a TED speaker, makes poetry videos for BBC The Social and is celebrating the publication of her new book Happiness Is An Art Form with Burning Eye.
Joe Beaumont-Howell: Leicester’s rock n roll poetry don, Roundhouse resident and favourite of BBC 1Xtra. Like the lovechild of Joe Strummer and Patti Smith.
