An open mic night for musicians, poets and story-tellers; and it is recorded for radio. A friendly night in a cosy bar, featuring a variety of great performances?
But get there early (before 8.30) to be sure of getting a slot!
28th June 2011
Due to touring and gigging commitments with his new band, Laying Down the Law, this is sadly Charlie's last night as host of the open mic (though we suspect he may return from time to time to do the odd guest spot at Iguana acoustic nights).
So come down and help give Charlie a good send off, and celebrate ten months of his time as host of both the open mic and the Acoustic Sunday showcases.
We'd like to invite all friends of the open mic, past present and new, performers and audience alike, to join in with live music, comedy and poetry, or whatever you'd like to bring to the stage, or join in with from your seat.
