Just found it, Albert King right? Great song. Have you ever listened to the album, "Indianola Mississippi Seeds," BB King. It's one of my all time favourites.

I am so pleased to hear that, I used to play with a couple of blues bands, I play harmonica, although I've hardly touched one for about 20 years. I can't place the song but I'm gonna have to check it out now. Thanks Victoria.

Reads like an awesome blues song. I'm listening to "I'll Play the Blues for You" in the background as I read this poem and the rhythm fits perfectly. Music to the ears of all us survivors. Great title and verse. ❤

IMO, imaginative and brilliantly expressed. Sort of like a stick to a weary traveller. Not a limousine! Just a stick to brace against, to share your weight as you walk, because the Walking is the purpose.
Or not.
I really enjoyed this work. Made me think.
