A lot of times my wife tries too hard to be everywhere at once and be everybody's shoulder, but when it goes downhill I have to remind her she's not out to win friends or please everybody all the time - she is out to be the best version of herself.
Self-confidence can be unlearned if not properly applied in heaping doses. We have to want to do better before it will happen, and so the conundrum of doing our best and failing happens. Don't be too hard on yourself, and whatever you do, keep writing.?
