Biography

Name is Tatiana but I go by Tati; poet name is Tatiana L. I’m born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana and I have 4 kids, (2 girls, 2 boys). I am a private pastry chef; I attended culinary arts at the New Orleans job corps center and I am now a small business owner. My biggest platform is instagram, so I can be found @flavored_aromas, but my passion has always been to write music and poetry. I also have a personal instagram platform, where I sometimes post small pieces of my spoken word and also recorded music. I can be found @its_da_journey. I hope to gain many supporters with my work and reach many likely souls with my spoken words.

These Waters

Tatiana L Sometimes your like pure water, calming with good energy, getting me deep in toned with my spirit, then your like the sounds of angels calling out to meet me half way, evoking my memory from the hood, child’s playing holding on tight because this’ll be a long day, other times your like riding toward the future with no fear, I think I might be time filtered, you stay true to love that never dies, your something like the waters that endorse my high, I think I might get use to this, you got me passing through intervals wondering if I’ve lived this life before, in a city where they dance with the devil like a revolving door or a never ending shore, your like the light I seek when trying to stray away from those passive aggressive nights, then your like a poltergeist, chilling up my spine, I know it can’t be wrong because it feels so right, sometimes your like pure water, make me wanna ride your waves and cover my mind with the sounds that sway, and when I’m cold with shivers, your the sun rays that covers the rhythm, your like pure water.
