Biography

I am a poet, sculpter, almond farmer living in a remote cortijo high in the sierra nevada mountain range, andalucia. Like all poets, i think alot and writing poetry helps me make the inexpressible expressible.

PASSOVER Its not Monday anymore. The winds came and lifted the sheets high and farther than the stretch of my fingers. I stand and look over to the other mountain. There is so much land inbetween. And there... Images trodden down under the march of a thousand starlings, staining the skin of the earth like a forgotten tattoo. Its not Monday anymore And i do not wait for a turn in the light to caste shadow or the air to catch the bleat of a lamb. It is late, late into a week of countless days and the river bed is turning to dust. Galleon And then there was time behind me. Gullies and streams and rivers and then an ocean or more Pictures, images laying in the beds of deep lakes. Laying there staring at me. They ask me what I have done and how I have loved and I have no answer, but then, the past is a silent song, a symphony of life and sometimes the wind blows a sweet tune and sometimes a lament, but there, down in deep waters lies my galleon naked and in repose in beautiful decay rocking gently under a fathomless blue sea.
