Biography

I write because if I don't then the words won't stop running through my mind. My writing is usually inspired by what my heart is feeling but can also be from a hope my heart yearns to feel. This is the first time sharing my writing publicly. My hope is to reach those whose hearts my be in search for the same words. I tend to write the poems in a matter of minutes. The words come just as fast as i can write. That is why many of the poems I write do not have a title. At least for now.

A HEART'S TRUE ACCOUNT The heart grows weak As the eyes grow fonder The mind resists As the soul begins to wander. Then she comes along The start of whirlwind infatuation No time for a chance encounter My only thought I can't I have to know her Her pearly smile The constellations in her eyes Such beauty beneath Far from surprise My soul aches As my heart trembles To steady my thoughts Would take her touch I have to know her Can I know her too much Like the sea meets the sky Her fluorescent skin Like the color of her eye Lips so tempting A body of wonder As it appears All my love surfaces from under She is a queen An angel of hope One day I may To get her heart climb the forever rope THE SUNSET OF SORROW It is so easy to get lost The voice in your head Drown out by the song of sorrow As the sun dips beneath the line of land Darkness sweeps throughout the world Your world The melody transitions to a whisper Left only with thought With the memory of the sun The gleam of rays like the life once breathed Why does the blackness take your breath? Leave you gasping for a hope remembered And as the stars begin to sparkle the sky We shall call it when love surrendered
