Biography
My name is Sophie and I am nine years old. I moved to Blyth just before lockdown 2020. At the start of lockdown my grandma became very ill from the virus and had to go to hospital. After learning poetry as part of my home school learning I fell in love with it! Me and my mam decided to create a personal project to help distract me and voice my feelings with everything going on. My personal project was a poetry booklet. During lockdown my hobbies and interests changed, I now loved poetry! I started taking photographs around my house, my yard and on my walks. I started to keep a diary which helped me express how I felt each day. Here are some poems from my personal project that I created during the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic of 2020.
