Biography

Engineer by training. Educated at a grammar school in Leicester and then in Oxford. I know how to write grammatical English but do not work in the arts. Keen photographer of all sorts of subjects working to competition standard.

Samples

I've never published poetry - not e'en a single verse. My friends all have a go at me; my humour makes them curse! I've penned a line in the birthday card of wife and sons and friends, but writing poems is jolly hard and so my effort ends. But wait! I've seen this competish- ion. I might get some fans a- round Bolton who sincerely wish I'd write another stanza. (In case you are in any doubt, I am indeed a complete novice).
