Biography

I live in Liverpool and work as a writer and poet. I have five pamphlets and two recent exhibitions with photographers. My pamphlet 'The Weight of Snow' won the 2021 Saboteur Award for best poetry pamphlet. I gained a PhD from Liverpool University in 2018 and have an MA in Creative Arts. I was the first writer-in-residence with Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool from 2016 – 2019. I worked as poet-in-residence with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust from 2013 – 2020. I've worked as a writer in health and community settings since 2004 and have experience as an HE Tutor.
