Corporation A single purpose, A promise of gloom, Made its way Across the room. It found your eyes, And it found your heart, That is how the voices start. That is how these creatures climb, Fill your ears with stinking slime, Catch your breath between their jaws, Slash your mind with wanton claws. Your brain, your body They do defile, Yet still you live, And still you smile. A single purpose, A promise post womb, Puts you in A second tomb. It found your cot, And it found your heart, Put you in a shopping cart. It plucked you from a bustling shelf, Sold you on and stole your wealth, Snatched your dreams from under your nose, Broke your soul with silent blows. There’s no escape It’s everywhere, But you don’t know, And you don’t care. A single purpose, A promise of doom, Chokes our lives The one true fume. It lives in you, And it lives in me. That is why we will never be free.
