Biography

biography!! hmm, tough one, i started writing all by mistake about 2 years ago and i have suddenly arrived at this point. i relly dont know exactly how or why, i was usless at english at school.

Samples

i wrote this after the somewhat awesome experience of the foo fighters concert at wembley stadium that featured some members of led zeplin Heaven Is A Big Stadium Of Lights Oh my god, i want to cry, a bright white arch way in the sky lighting up the fighting foos they fill the air with happy blues a crowd in awe with waving hands sing the songs out to the man he is now a shining star that brings to life their beating hearts a zeplin flies in overhead and rocks the ground made of led then the star again appears to bring the best of us to tears so many stories from one night some of heaven, some of fright but all have seen an awesome sight in the arch-lit stadium of lights a small something i seem to keep adding to from time to time as events of that night filter out of my head. if you dont like it, stil have a look at my page, because i've tried writing lots of different things in different ways. A Night With The Futureheads It started off gently, the bands all played And here they come on to the stage They started playing, and then they Prayed The crowd went mental, the beer got sprayed The stage got rocked, the speakers moved They thanked the heavens for their crew As the big tunes came about they heard their fans all scream and shout Their first trip to Southend, they've come so far To a knee high stage in a seafront bar

Hi "Fikus,"
After reading your profile, you've either taken the time and trouble to go on a writing course or you are a natural born poet. ( you lucky devil.)

I love how you wrote " a war of words." and the two liners which gave me the image of a double barrelled shot-gun, shaped like a pen.
I could feel the pressing of the tip on a biro, on-off. on-off.

I like both your samples. They have a really good rhythm.
Thanks for sharing , Janet.x
