Biography

By trade, I'm a digital designer. Outside of the confines of normality however I'm an enthusiast of creativity in all it's forms, and a keen writer of poetry and short stories. To date, I have not performed any of my poetry live (except in the presence of my fiancee). I've only just picked up the courage to let my work be seen by the world outside my living room, I am hoping to gather my willpower and perform an open mic soon! (Any hints, or tips would be greatly appreciated!)

23 Soldiers of Ovenden Moor: We 23 soldiers Upon Ovenden Moor Standing shoulder to shoulder Steel hearts at our cores Though our blades be unsharpened And our uniforms torn We attend to our duties Arming nature for war. We 23 heroes Overlooking the streets Rain clouds for berets Heather shoes on our feet Through the frosts, through the rain We will never retreat Our combined revolutions Light your homes, bring you heat. We 23 brothers Confined to formation Shout only in whispers Yet cause aggravation We came to bring power To enrich the nation Yet our presence and stature Cause more confrontation. We 23 few Stranded high on the moor A hope for the future? Or just an eyesore. We symbolise change From mistakes of before Will you stand up beside us? Or choose to ignore? -------------------------------- The Robin: The robin, perches, patiently she observes, the chaos of sparrows bickering and shouting at each other in discordant verse. Short flight, for… a different view. Dancing on a wayward breeze, so elegantly she flew. And now alone. A chance for her to feed. With rondure gliding to the table, she selects a single seed. Away she flits, to the shaded canopy, though nature bestowed her the gifts to be free, she dines here in my garden her gift to me. -------------------------------- Multi Track Minds: No mind follows one track, ignore the passengers as they overplay such unbacked verbal scrap. And please don’t feed the clichés. Every person runs into junctions, which intersect, form new concepts, connect. Redundant thoughts oppose functions and lead not scars to resurrect. A simple woman or man? That’s a myth!
Never does a personality fit category as default, still persist will some this exists. Heed not the ignorance of this insult. Calling everyone, end of line approaches. Get ready each to reach your destinations, A web of fiction lays before you and encroaches. Read the warnings now and exit at your stations.
