Biography

I am currently a student at Bryn Mawr college and I’ve always been a fan of writing. Up until now I’ve never really published any of my poetry or essays, but I found yall because of a song you produced and I figured I might as well try sharing my work on here.

“We buried my Nana towards the end of Covid, but she keeps dying. I forget that she’s gone, and then I’ll hear Hallelujah, or I’ll eat a bagel, and she’s there for a moment and then she dies again. And when I look at a church I can feel her hand on my shoulder. Sometimes I’ll see her on the couch in my house in Philly. And I never go into the game room in the back because she is still too present there, and I can’t enter it, no matter how hard I try.“ “The neckline reciprocates, Its own bloody patch Stark and apparent, Letting your eyes linger once again On the unobstructed beauty Of the Gold thread there Its patterns and combinations elaborate, Though soft.” “So I pray for sleep or a reprieve as the ache rackets around my head, bouncing, bouncing, bouncing. All my thoughts disappear in the wake of this monstrosity of misery, the enormity of it is too big. I need a painkiller. I stumble into the kitchen, hand pressed desperately to my forehead. The pills are chalky and gross, and that is all I know before I’m tripping back to bed, praying to a god who has never answered me that it might go away.”
