Just a full time uni student that loves to write some things, particularly poetry and songs. :))

You are sitting on the last carriage, The flashing lights of the railway crossings penetrate the darkness that surround you and this locomotive You wonder why it is that with your eyes shut you are still able to see the flashing red lights Where are you really, You watch through the glass as the engine rounds the bend ahead, Knowing soon too you will be taken around that turn, You know you will be pulled wherever the engine may lead you Who is it that sits inside that window Who is it that occupies the drivers seat, you hope that you are in good hands, You do not know where you are going And must trust that they will lead the way, You can hold on, the tracks know the way, even if you do not. The beauty of your seat you often fail to see, is that you get to sit back and watch. Something rattles past you with a wind almost enough to knock you over Open your eyes, just in time, The doors open Step inside
