OUR MIKE (Line by line palindrome style) The last time I saw you You had laughing eyes... As you said goodbye, Silhouetted by the door There you were A forever snapshot photograph, In my minds eye That’s where you are now In my minds eye A forever snapshot photograph, There you were Silhouetted by the door As you said goodbye, You had laughing eyes... The last time I saw you This was my first attempt at palindromic poetry. It was written after my younger brothers sudden death, aged 36. It reads the same from beginning to end, or from end to beginning, line by line.

Hi Chrissie - a warm welcome to WOL. I love your poem. Clever and extremely moving too. Hope to see more of your work on here. Try putting a poem in the blog section, esp if you'd welcome any feedback.
