Biography

I'm just an 18 year old who's convinced they can write poetry.

I hate looking at my teachers's faces. They look like they expect something from me. Please, don't. Don't look at me like you know I'll go places, Because I can't even see the road I'm taking. Don't look at me like I'll be able to fly high, Because I'm scared of heights. Don't look at me like I'm one of the best students you've ever had, Because that's all I've done all my life. That's the only thing I'm good at. Being a student. I can't live a life being a student. I can't live a life, walking on the road to no where, If I'm not enjoying not even the view. I can't live a life carrying your expectations, as if I'm not carrying mine already. I can't live a life If I feel like my life is a weight on my shoulders That doesn't let me dance freely. I can't live a life If it doesn't feel like it's mine at all.
