when the heart hungers

thee, whose false but tempting words almost make my heart
believe
how convincingly doth try thee to deceive
am i to be perceived as being born a fool?
poorly schooled in the art of trickery
such shall be thy self misguidance
the alliance of thy cunning and conscience faulted
praising lies can all too easily leave my lips in same fashion
thereby creating a dual pleasureable deception
regardless of myself,the intended victim
whilst unknown to thee,am i the unloved victor
happily pretentious in acceptance of delightful deviousness
why then,my need be to question thy sly intention
if i be aware and contented awhile
even shallow love still provides for the thirsty lover
come therefore, let us both drink while it flows
