Tiny has a tear

Tiny has a tear

Barbie lay in the same box
As the eagle eyed man
His beard rubbed the legs
Of Sindy’s perfect tan
And ken the sculptured partner
Of a 2.2 lifestyle
Had moulded upon his rubber face
A perfect teeth white smile
And by trick of dusty lofty light
A grin appears to frown
The dolls are all entangled
And half are upside down
This journey of joy has ended
Your loving hands have left
the subtle limps so stubborn and seized
For time is known as theft
The fading fun for simple things
The growing children’s games
A love for us so far from now
The fleshy thing has stained
And upon your wall you idolise
A female doll in frames
so what became your love for us
It seems theres no remains
We played for you
As you did I
Games so rich and simple
Tugging on the lock of hair
Prodding on the dimple
And rolling real glass eyes
You put us down to sleep
And in your dreams I haunted you
For in your mind we creep
Games with us a mirror now
For what you hold this year
Massive is your debt to us
Yet Tiny as a tear.
