Musical Haikus ?
The concept of “A Musical Haiku” occurred to me a few months ago.
I thought; well, why not? The sounds of the human voice (eg. reading a haiku), just as musical sounds do, have pitch, duration, volume / loudness and timbre - amongst other qualities.
Having taught myself the clasical guitar many years ago, I currently dabble in piano, accordion and tin whistle, my latest acquisition being a second - hand fiddle (violin).
Any ideas, anyone; or do I risk bringing the wrath of the purists down on my head?

For several months now, I've been experimenting on a simple, stress, simple, way, a kind of template for setting words (poetry / any words) to music.
Trying to get to sleep last night, it dawned on me that this template was AN answer to my initial question.
I'll have go at posting a blog on it...see if it's legible, understandable.
