Yes I'm inspiree by music. Which is why I'm not inspired by Oasis. Cause I'm inspired by music not shite.

Sure I often get inspired from songs too. I take them and make them into stories. But here's the strange thing, the songs that inspire me are not the kind of songs that tell a story, they're the allegorical, abstract type; kind of like poems which suppose I deconstruct in my head and build them up again anew, turn them into an entirely different thing. Sometimes I take the bottom line of the song and make it the bottom line of my story and other times I just pick up a vague phrase or a "picture" and fish out a plot element, a metaphor or a theme... Anything really. In the end when the story is done you can't tell it derived from anything, I guess because the things I had to say got in the way.
And it has once or twice happened to me that a classical music piece got me so deep in the zone that I dropped everything and zoned out for about an hour or so and kept writing even when the sonata was over. And I swear, the frickin armageddon could have set the world on fire and I wouldn't have noticed a thing! It was the most incredible experience.

That sounds despicable. Going behind people's backs. There's no reason for it, I personally more than once have said and meant it for real that I welcome criticism. Say it to my face!
Anyway, that seems to be far from the point of WOL. It is in fact a great place and every person I've interacted with are decent folks.
I'm all pro solidarity and a humble servant of the "Man, don't be a hater!" order!?
Oh, also, Beatles! Especially Paul MacCartney gets my creative juices flowing!
