Frozen

Curled and furled beneath the ice
Sure to burst forth at any time –
But it’s the waiting that kills
Time.

The possibility, in all probability –
Is that it will champion over the ice
The strength contained within will suffice
Eventually.

Days of doubt
Can I wait this out?
But who am I to question the scheme of things,
Reality.
