We've set up a group profile facility on the site and it is currently on beta test, so I wonder if you fancy having a play with it, especially if you run some kind of group; see what it can do for you as an organiser, and what else you might like it to do for you and your group. It’s like the individual poets’ profile (showcase) but for groups: event organisers, writing groups, virtual groups, publishers, semi-pro poets, any group in fact, but especially for coordinators of an open mic night.

At the moment it has almost the same facilities as the individual one – blogs and stuff – plus you can enter your own events and announcements onto the gig guide direct from your group, and link your profile to events, and events to your profile. You can also have multiple admins for your group profile, so you can elect to have other group members to help you run your group profile.

We shall be adding things like your own galleries, discussions, closed area for you and your group to upload your work – you name it. Yes, YOU name it. When you have had a play with the facility, please tell us what you think. Here.
And please report any bugs/error messages by emailing bugs@writeoutloud.net. Please give the page address - cut and paste the web address from the top - and say what you were doing and copy any error message if you can. and thanks for trying it out.
