Donations are essential to keep Write Out Loud going

Best way to set up a poetry blog?

Write poetry that is your poetry. Dare to be different. Be patient. I started my blog back to 2009; it takes time gaining traction and a following. If you receive envious comments, don't worry. Always be kind, never retaliate. If your poetry is worth reading, people will read it, but don't judge the quality of your poetry ONLY by how many subscribers you have - that is an extreme sport.

Oh, and don't listen to anyone's advice, so, er.. ignore everything I have just said.

Follow your inner voice..

I know it has been a while since you asked this question, but I'm sure other people here are thinking about starting a blog, or have one already.

So, good luck to anyone who has a blog. Especially in the beginning it can often feel like playing football on the moon with a square beach ball..
