Fresh from the success of The Poetry Trusts' ‘New Talent’ reading at the Bush Theatre in London in May, we’ll be back in the capital in July.

We'll be working with Faber to present ‘Poetry on the Fourth Floor’: this inaugural event, taking place at Faber’s Bloomsbury home, brings together an engaging trio of great British women poets – Julia Copus, Olivia McCannon and Jo Shapcott – three of today’s most vital and relevant voices.

Julia Copus: Winner of the 2010 Forward Prize for Best Single Poem & shortlisted for the TS Eliot Prize 2012. And of course she gave an outstanding reading at Aldeburgh 2012.

Olivia McCannon: Her debut collection Exactly My Own Length (Carcanet/Oxford Poets, 2011) was shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Centre Prize and won the 2012 Fenton Aldeburgh First Collection Prize. She will read at Aldeburgh Poetry Festival 2013.

Jo Shapcott: Twice winner of the National Poetry Competition, winner of the Costa Book Award and recipient of the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry in 2011.

Advance booking strongly recommended.

Entry: £8/6 in advance

Time: 6:30 for 7:00pm
