The longest day falls on Friday 21st June so our meeting has a Midsummer theme! Please bring published poems / lyrics which capture the essence of midsummer for you. It can be a literal, abstract or personal connection.
Ideas when thinking what poems / lyrics to bring: sun, seasons, weather, light and dark, balance, festival, time, celebration, growth, midsummers eve, holidays, summer activities & sports, nature, summertime, relaxing, summer in the city etc. There are also many midsummer / midsummers eve celebrations in European countries so you may wish to bring a poem from another country. Or you may find a poem / lyrics that hold special relevance to you and reminds you of this time of year.
